Hey FCF Church!

We missed seeing you all this week.  Hopefully you enjoyed time with family and friends celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States Independence!  

I am testing out the Blog feature on the website.  I took some time this morning before work to get quiet and listen for God to speak.  We are told to be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath.  While I sat quietly, I could sense my flesh looking to do while my spirit man yearned to hear.  This is a snapshot of what my life looks like on a daily basis.  I intend to hear, battle to quiet the flesh constantly.  

Pride would say you don't have time to do that.  My spirit says you can't live without it.  The one I choose to feed is ultimately the one that will grow.  Sow to the flesh reap corruption, Sow to the spirit reap life everlasting.  Seems simple right?  

What we treasure is where our heart will be.  I ask myself this question:  What does your heart truly treasure Jeff???
